We all go through relationship problems every once in a while whether with our spouse, children, friends, colleagues or anyone for that matter. Whatever you believe the cause of the relationship problem, personally, do you believe having a relationship problem is bad? Some people will say, “Yeah it’s bad to have a relationship problem”. I look at it differently. For me, I look at every problem in life as a teacher in disguise. If I am facing problem, it means it has come to teach me something. There is something that I don’t know and that is why the problem is there to teach me. If you are facing relationship problem, you should ask yourself, “what is it that I have not learned about relationship that I have to face this problem?” Think about it. If you know how to have a good relationship, why would you have a problem with your relationship? So it means you have to learn something about relationship. Most people like to point their finger outwardly towards others when they are facing problems, especially in relationship problems. It’s just so easy to point the finger at their spouse and say, “oh well, she doesn’t understand” [...]

Love relationship is a delicate thing indeed. It is like holding an egg. If you apply too much of pressure while holding the egg, it will break in your hand. If you hold it too lightly it may just fall down and break too but if it is rightly held, it can be in your hand as long as you want. Thus, maintaining a happy and successful relationship depends to how we handle it and it starts with us clearly understanding the purpose of having the relationship in the first place. What is the purpose of your relationship? Why did both of you agreed to be together? Surely it must be because of love. In my case for example, if I find myself having misunderstanding with my wife, I will remind myself that I might never get a better person than her. I remember all the good side of her. This gives me reasons to adjust myself and work towards our reasons to be together. Relationship is about understanding. Just because we have a misunderstanding, we should not give up on it and believe the relationship will never work.
How can we treat or help someone who have had a breakup? It is not easy to give a breakup advice or relationship advice because we are dealing with the matters of heart. If one is mature in the heart, than he or she will be able to come out of it easily but often the pain are just too strong to be ignored. How do we treat a broken heart? Nothing accept healing it with love. Yes, only love and love alone can heal a wounded and broken heart. If you are going through such a situation, try to find some love. Life taught me one lesson.
