I used to think like this but not anymore. I now believe that we must respect ourself enough to express our feelings (even if that means being angry). Especially when someone broke our trust.

This concept of true love can be dangerous. On this earth, there is no such thing as a totally unconditional love, there are always expectations. If you&#039;re girlfriend is trying to kill you will you still try to understand her on behalf or &quot;true love&quot;? Same thing if your father is abusing you sexually. There is too much physical and emotional abuses in relationships, forgetting ourselfs is not loving ourself and is a good way to be unhappy in this life. 

That doesn&#039;t mean we should not forgive, as forgiving is essential.

In real life, we are not gods and we try to do the best with what we have. Anger may hurt and cause pain for a moment, but the price for not expressing our hurt and deception is too big in the long run.

I believe that we feel pain because of our own self and the way we negatively look at a situation. It is true that anger is a result of this pain (that ideally should not be there) but if you feel pain, you should express it.</description>
